Animated Concept
Cat Diary
Experimental Work
There was a fun visual concept in my head.
The idea was to interchange 2D and 3D characteristics: where 3D elements are fashioned with flat textures and vector gradients; and the main subject, crafted with basic 2D shapes, moves naturally in a Z-space.
Then one day I stumbled upon a video zefrank1@Youtube featuring a cat with an absurdly deep voice, which was so hilariously offbeat that I couldn't resist repurposing the voice-over to complement my envisioned art style.
The result is a harmonious fusion of these contrasting styles, producing scenes reminiscent of nicely-composed posters.
I captured screenshots of various scenes when animating, to ensure that they look nice and shine as stand-alone posters.
