Hello it’s me

Self Portrait

Experimental Work

This project dates back a few years when 3D scanning tools like LiDAR or ARkit weren't as available as they are today.

Embracing the novelty of generating a 3D mesh from 2D photos, I decided to scan my own face with this cutting-edge tech. (I mean, what else can you do with it?)

So the star of the show is a 3D mesh of my face, accompanied by the soundtrack of me mumbling. The floating 3D objects are random trinkets I found scattered across my workspace while crafting this piece.

The concept here is to visually capture the precise moment when inspiration struck. (You are looking into my head.)
