TikTok In the Mix

Studio Project

“In The Mix” is TikTok’s biggest LIVE music event, showcases renowned artists and delivers an exciting experience filled with powerful music+visual impact.

We designed dynamic content tailored for a unique stadium setup featuring four vertical screens, one overhead horizontal screen, and a surrounding cylindrical screen. Synchronized visual effects were created across displays. Our designs seamlessly blended TikTok's vibrant essence with each artist's unique style, ensuring an engaging and visually captivating live concert experience.

Designer / Animator: Ken Kwong, Arving Wu, Francisco Rodriguez, Joseph Sandefur, Paris Glickman, Sava Kesic

The audience area was divided into multiple sections, allowing people to gather around the main stage or enjoy live screens from further audience seats. To ensure a consistent experience, multiple screens with varying aspects were set up around the stadium.

DISPLAYS SETUP

My primary responsibility was creating full-screen graphics tailored for Charlie Puth’s performance. We meticulously studied the style of the artist, ensuring the visuals across all displays not only captured his essence but also dynamically responded to the music.

In addition to full-screen graphics, we crafted overlay animations for selected moments. For Charlie Puth, we animated hand-drawn style illustrations, capturing the emotion of the performance to enhance the storytelling aspect.
